Jake Paul proved once again that he is not afraid of anyone in the boxing ring, as he knocked out Andre August in the first round of their cruiserweight bout on Friday night at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

Paul (7-1, 4 KOs) dominated the fight from start to finish, landing powerful punches and body shots that rocked August (10-1-1, 5 KOs). The referee stopped the fight at 2:32 of the first round, after August collapsed to the canvas and could not beat the count.

Paul celebrated his victory by waving goodbye to his opponent on the mat, before leaving the ring with his team.

He later posted a video of himself celebrating on social media, saying that he was proud of his performance and that he was ready for bigger challenges.

August turned pro in 2013 and has been undefeated since then. He last fought in August 2020, when he defeated Luis Collazo by unanimous decision. He was looking for his sixth straight win and his fifth knockout victory.

However, Paul proved to be too much for him, as he showed his superior skills and power. Paul has been making waves in the boxing world with his knockout wins over former NBA players Nate Robinson and Tyron Woodley, as well as retired MMA star Ben Askren.

Paul has also been calling out other boxers for fights, such as Tommy Fury (the brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury), Tommy Fury Jr., and Floyd Mayweather Jr. However, none of them have accepted his challenge yet.

Paul vs August was part of an eight-fight card that featured several young prospects looking to impress. The main event was for the vacant WBC super middleweight title between Shadasia Green (13-0) and Franchon Crews-Dezurn (8-2). Green won by unanimous decision after 10 rounds.

Other notable fights on the card were:
